Yesterday it was coffee in the morning, four stops for errands after coffee in the record-setting heat. I worked on the room in the afternoon.

Oh. The other day a large limb detached itself from the oak tree in the neighbor’s yard. Winds were calm at the time. The wood is not rotted at the break, the electric company said that limb probably absorbed enough moisture from the ground to make it fall. That broken limb goes all the way to the other side of the neighbor’s house. Fortunately no one was hurt, no structures harmed, and no power or comm lines were harmed.

Had I been working in the yard at the time I’m sure I woulda peed my britches or worse. He’s getting estimates for having the limb removed and having the tree removed.
